Solana memecoin MCP server
Blix MCP turns the Blix API into 20 tools an AI client can call. Ask Claude what is running on pump.fun right now, who holds a coin and whether the dev sold, or have it paper-trade a call. It is free, open source and has no dependencies, and it reads only, plus a paper-money desk: nothing it does can spend real funds.

Set it up in two steps
1. Run Blix
git clone https://github.com/blixvip/blixtrade.git
cd blixtrade
npm start
# dashboard and API on http://localhost:44202. Add the server to your client
Use the folder you cloned in place of /path/to/blixtrade. On Windows that looks like C:\\Users\\you\\blixtrade\\mcp\\blix-mcp.mjs inside JSON.
Claude Code
Run once in a terminal.
claude mcp add blix -- node /path/to/blixtrade/mcp/blix-mcp.mjsClaude Desktop and Cursor
Add to claude_desktop_config.json or ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
{
"mcpServers": {
"blix": {
"command": "node",
"args": [
"/path/to/blixtrade/mcp/blix-mcp.mjs"
]
}
}
}Codex
Add to ~/.codex/config.toml.
[mcp_servers.blix]
command = "node"
args = ["/path/to/blixtrade/mcp/blix-mcp.mjs"]VS Code
Add to .vscode/mcp.json.
{
"servers": {
"blix": {
"type": "stdio",
"command": "node",
"args": [
"/path/to/blixtrade/mcp/blix-mcp.mjs"

}
}
}Running Blix on another port or machine? Set BLIX_URL (for example http://localhost:4421) in the client's environment for this server.
The 20 tools
Every tool is one call of the API. Lists are trimmed for a model: each tool takes limit (rows per list, default 10, max 50), picture fields are dropped and long text is shortened.
| Tool | Arguments | What it does |
|---|---|---|
blix_overview | none | Market snapshot: launches per hour, coins tracked, signals in 24h, graduations, top movers, health issues. |
blix_pulse | none | The live Pulse: new launches, final stretch, migrated and running coins, each with stats and the AI verdict. |
blix_signals | kind? screen? | Latest signals, newest first. |
blix_coins | q? sort? dir? theme? | Search or rank tracked coins. A search also finds dead and flagged coins. |
blix_coin | mint | Everything on one coin: price history, safety report, holders summary, socials, research, signals. |
blix_holders | mint | Live holder ledger for a coin: top holders tagged dev, sniper or bundle, and the top-10 share. |
blix_candles | mint tf? | Market-cap candles built from real trades, with volume. Returns the most recent candles. |
blix_quote | mint side amount slip? | A real Jupiter quote for a buy or a sell: amount out, price impact, route. Nothing is traded. |
blix_narratives | none | Narratives right now: themes with heat, launch share, lift, emerging words and lead coins. |
blix_briefs | none | The latest market briefs written by the AI. |
blix_research | mint | The AI reads on one coin: first read, deep read, grade, thesis, plan, sources. |
blix_picks | none | The AI picks scorecard: by stage, by call, by reason, by day, and the running result. |
blix_wallets | none | Followed wallets with PnL, the smart-money ranking and recent activity. |
blix_wallet | address | One wallet: swaps, realized and open PnL, positions, linked wallets. |
blix_fomo | none | What Fomo app traders are buying, and the top Fomo traders. |
blix_track_record | none | How past signals did, per signal type: up 20%+, down 50%+, unsellable, median, reached 2x. |
blix_health | none | Every dependency of the radar: working or not, last success, last failure, what to do. |
blix_paper_desk | none | The paper desk: open positions, today's and lifetime PnL. Paper money only. |
blix_paper_buy | mint sol tp? sl? trail? | Open a paper position at the real quote. Paper money only: nothing is ever bought. Paper money. |
blix_paper_sell | id pct? | Sell all or part of a paper position at the real quote. Paper money only. Paper money. |
Things to ask it
- "What is running on pump.fun in the last five minutes? Skip anything where bundles hold more than 20%."
- "Is the dev still holding
<mint>? Show the top holders tagged sniper or bundle." - "Quote a 0.5 SOL buy of
<mint>and tell me the price impact." - "Paper-buy 0.25 SOL of the strongest Final stretch coin with a 2x take-profit and a 40% stop."
- "Summarise today's narratives and the coins leading each one."
- "How have Blix's dump warnings done this week? Show the track record."
How it works
The server is one file, mcp/blix-mcp.mjs. Your client starts it over stdio; it answers initialize, tools/list and tools/call, and turns each call into an HTTP request to Blix on localhost:4420. Tools that only read are marked read-only to the client; the two paper-desk tools are not. The tool list is one module shared with Blix's own MCP page, so the docs cannot drift from what the server offers.
How it compares
| Key | Data | Real trades | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blix MCP | None | pump.fun launches, live trades, holders with snipers and bundles, candles, quotes, AI reads, signals, narratives, wallets, track record | No (paper desk) |
| GMGN agent skills | GMGN API key | GMGN token, market, wallet and trending data | Yes, with your private key and an IP whitelist |
| Community pump.fun MCP servers | Varies | Usually token lookups and bonding-curve reads | Some can buy and sell with a private key you supply |
Frequently asked questions
Is there a GMGN MCP server?
GMGN publishes "skills" for AI agents on top of its OpenAPI (github.com/GMGNAI/gmgn-skills); they need a GMGN API key, and trading needs your private key. Blix MCP needs no key and cannot trade with real money. See GMGN API.
Is there an Axiom Trade MCP server?
Axiom Trade does not publish an API or an MCP server. Most "Axiom MCP" results are about Axiom (axiom.co), an unrelated logging company. Blix MCP gives an AI client the same kind of data Axiom's Pulse shows.
Can the AI trade real money with it?
No. The only write tools are blix_paper_buy and blix_paper_sell, and they use paper money filled at real Jupiter quotes. There is no wallet, no key and no signing anywhere in Blix.
Which MCP clients does it work with?
Any client that can start a local (stdio) server: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, VS Code, Windsurf, Zed and others. Clients that only accept remote (HTTPS) servers cannot start it.
Does Blix have to be running?
Yes. The MCP server is a thin bridge to Blix's API on your machine. If Blix is not running, every tool answers "Blix is not answering" instead of hanging.
Is it free?
Yes. Blix and its MCP server are open source under the MIT licence. AI reads inside Blix use your own Claude or Grok login; the MCP server itself calls no paid service.
